I am a huge coffee drinker so I am really happy I got to try out the Brothers Coffee Company Subscription!
When you sign up for Brothers Coffee, every month you will receive freshly roasted coffee from a new roaster. Brothers Coffee carefully selects each roaster and coffee to ensure that it is both delicious and does something new and exciting to make the world a better place! $1 from each subscription is donated to Grounds for Health, which screens for and treats cervical cancer, a preventable disease that kills hundreds of thousands every year.
Brothers Coffee has selected Larry’s Coffee for the February roaster because they are the whole package! From their process of importing coffee, to their office, packaging, and even transportation, they are obsessed with finding new and innovative ways to improve systems and help others. Larry’s Coffee is slow-roasted, fair trade, shade-grown and 100% organic as well!
The first coffee I received is called Bolivia. The Bolivian coffee is smooth, creamy, and delicious, with notes of chocolate and roasted almond. The light-to-medium roast allows for the soft citrus acidity to shine, striking the perfect balance with the rich and mellow medium body.
The second coffee I received is called Frenchy French. Larry’s Coffee takes a slow and steady approach to this unique dark roast, allowing the beans’ natural sugars to caramelize nicely without burning. The result is bold, dark, and rich with a bittersweet chocolate undercurrent.
