In today’s post, I am sharing with you all the ways that I love to use apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is definitely one of my favorite natural remedies that I love to use everyday! I really like how you can use apple cider vinegar to cure so many things.

Relieve A Stubborn Itch

Some itches never seem to quit. Instead of reaching for your Polysporin, saturate a Q-tip in apple cider vinegar and apply directly to the itch. It might sting a little, but the itch will quickly go away.

Stop Pets From Chewing

Most animals hate the smell of vinegar and they try to avoid it. To keep your electrical cords and furniture safe, dab them with apple cider vinegar once a week. You can also use it to clean stubborn pee marks to prevent your pet from peeing there again.

Clear Sinuses

Drinking a tablespoon of diluted apple cider vinegar in a warm glass of water will help break up mucus and relieve stuffiness.

Sooth A Sore Throat

Combine 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper, and 3 tablespoons of raw honey in a glass warm water and drink it. Cayenne pepper will help relieve any lingering pain.

Heal An Upset Stomach

Combine 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon into a paste. Stir it into 8 ounces of sparkling water and top it off with a little raw honey to improve the taste.

Boost Energy

Simply add a little apple cider vinegar to your morning tea or water for a quick boost.

Odor Remover

Apple cider vinegar stops odors by killing the bacteria or fungi that cause them. Combine 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar and spray around the house. The smell of vinegar should go away after an hour or so, leaving behind a pleasant scent.

Sooth Sunburn

Apple cider vinegar has the ability to sooth and cool sunburnt skin and it also restores the skin’s pH. Add a cup or two of apple cider vinegar to a bath and soak for 10 minutes.

Weight Loss

Drink 1/2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in warm water every day before meals to help control your appetite.

Condiment Enhancer

Apple cider vinegar can work just as well as salt to liven up your plate. Try it in sauces and marinades to give them more depth and balance.

Hair Conditioner

For shiny, untangled hair, mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, a cup of water, and a few drops of orange essential oil. Pour into freshly shampooed hair and leave for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and do not follow up with conditioner.

Heal Bruises

To help get rid of the appearance of bruises, warm up a cup of apple cider vinegar and mix in a teaspoon of sea salt. Apply to the bruise as a hot compress every day until the bruise goes away.

All-Purpose Cleaner

To disinfect your home, pour equal part apple cider vinegar and warm water into a spray bottle. You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to keep your home smelling fresh and clean. Apple cider vinegar works better than most chemical cleaners.

Facial Cleanser

If you have oily skin or suffer from acne, a little apple cider vinegar is all you need to reset your skin’s pH. Simply soak a cotton bud or washcloth in 2-3 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Put it on your face and do not wash it off unless you have very sensitive skin.

Dish Detergent

Add a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar with your dish detergent to cut down grease and prevent streaks on glassware.

Liver Detox

To clean your liver, take 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a 8 oz glass of hot water first thing in the morning. Make sure to eat clean and stay hydrated for best results.

Detox Bath

For a relaxing and restorative soak, add 1 cup Epsom salt and a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath. If you don’t like the smell, add 10 drops or so of lavender or tree tee oil. For a deeper detox, add 1/4 cup of baking soda before getting in.

Teeth Whitener

Do not apply directly to your teeth because it may break the enamel. Instead, dilute a few tablespoons and use as a mouth rinse. Make sure to rinse again with plain water afterwards.
